Nice mix of holes meandering through a residential community. Housing is extremely close to many fairways and unless your a fairly straight hitter, your in for a challenge. Fairways, although fairly generous, were close together and nearly got hit by a slightly off tee shot. A little long for the ladies

Considering there was 6" of snow on the course five (5) days earlier it was just good to get out and play a golf course.
This is a golfing community layout that gets a lot of traffic during the normal season, so the off-season is a good time to get in a quick (18 / 2.5hrs) round. The rolling Links Par 70 (35/35) layout (5,654 yds to 6,306yds) has "Dual" parallel holes winding throughout the housing (both sides) complex. But with the "Side by Side" hole layout you do have ample room if you favor the opposing fairway, as I took advantage of early on. Blocking out the closeness of the houses adds to the focus on your mostly narrow protected (water, trees, sand) landing areas.
I could see that the fuzzy winter conditions could give way in summer to a nice inter-city, challenging course for the money/travel. Paid the $25 for 18/cart and found #12 & #13 both having water on the LH side/cross wind caused me problems but that was my monkey. Surprisingly the sand was very soft and enjoyed playing out of it 4 times, with good results. Greens are very good sized with all being raised/protected by sand to force carries if two-putting for par is your game plan.
Look forward to stopping here again and seeing how the summer conditions change my 38/39 w/31 putt score card. Being located about 1.5 miles off I-69 make on / off very easy for a quick round to breakup your windshield time and stretch those legs. Didn't spend any time in the clubhouse but there is an abundance of eating facilities between the course and the highway.
